摘要
文章选取2004—2017年我国284个地级市面板数据,采用双重差分模型研究高铁开通对农村多维贫困的影响,并从农村劳动力流动视角分析其作用机制。结果显示:高铁开通能显著减缓农村多维贫困,农村劳动力流动是高铁减贫的主要作用机制。进一步研究发现,在高铁建设期内也能减缓农村多维贫困,并通过"示范效应"和"累积效应"表现出对农村多维贫困的长期作用。最后,在处理了存在的内生性问题和进行多重稳健性检验后均表明结论可信。
This paper selects the panel data from 284 prefecture-level cities in China from 2004 to 2017,applies difference-in-difference model to study the impact of high-speed railways available on rural multidimensional poverty,and analyzes its mechanism from the perspective of rural labor mobility.The results show that the availability of high-speed railways can significantly alleviate rural multidimensional poverty,and the rural labor mobility is the main mechanism for poverty reduction of high-speed railways.Further research finds that rural multidimensional poverty can also be alleviated during the construction period of high-speed railways,and that the long-term effect on rural multidimensional poverty is presented through the"demonstration effect"and"accumulation effect".Finally,the paper verifies the credibility of the conclusion after dealing with endogenous problems and conducting multiple robustness tests.
