摘要
地域文化在英语教学中不仅传递着社会背景、民族特色、宗教信仰、民风民俗等文化内涵,而且有利于激发学生的学习兴趣、加深对于英语知识点的理解。因此在高职英语教学中努力增强文化意识,多方位渗透地域文化信息,是目前高职英语教学的重要任务。本文结合自身多年高职英语教育的经验和实践研究,针对目前高职英语教学中地域文化融入的现状,以苏州传统文化为例,探索地域文化在高职英语教学中的有效渗透途径。
Regional culture in English teaching does not only convey cultural connotations such as social background,national characteristics,religious beliefs,and folk customs,but also helps to stimulate students’interest in learning and deepen their understanding of English knowledge.Therefore,striving to enhance cultural awareness in higher vocational English teaching and infiltrating regional and cultural information in multiple directions are the important tasks of higher vocational English teaching at present.Based on the author’s years of experience and practical research on English education in higher vocational education,this article aims to explore the current situation and effective ways of infiltrating regional culture in higher vocational English teaching taking Suzhou traditional culture as an example.
