摘要
对于一个国家和民族来讲,语言就是其最深层次的精神底蕴和文化内涵。不管语言的形式如何,它都能够传达出某个特定的国家或民族所特有的思想观念、文化特征和风俗习惯,更能够反映出该民族的社会文化与心理倾向。作为文化传播与跨国交流的主要方式,翻译活动毋庸置疑会受到社会与文化两种因素的影响。文章通过举例说明的方式论述了这两种因素中的哪些具体因素会对翻译活动产生一定的影响。
For a country or a nation,language represents its deepest spiritual and cultural connotation.No matter what the form of the language is,it can convey the unique ideas,cultural characteristics,and customs of a particular country or a nation,and can better reflect the social culture and psychological tendencies of a nation.As the main method of cultural exchange and transnational communication,translation activities will undoubtedly be affected by both social and cultural factors.This article discusses which of these two factors will have a certain impact on translation activities through examples.
