摘要 尊严是人类理性选择和精神追求的共同指向,中国文化本身具有推崇“师道尊严”的传统,重振“师道尊严”是教育生态良性发展的最优选择。虽然重振“师道尊严”非常重要,但重振之路要受到对其理解本身、外部环境和内部因素的影响。“师道尊严”反映了“教师对自我”“他人对教师”“教师对他人”三种关系,包括“自尊”“认可”和“贡献”三个彼此依赖的要素。教师自尊水平的提升要依赖于社会的认可;社会的认可不是空穴来风,最终还是要依赖于教师所做出的贡献。因此,重振师道尊严的根本逻辑,不是生硬地自我拉扯,也不是哀怨地责问社会,最终还是要回到教师本身,即不断提升教师自身的贡献力。当然,缓解或阻止“师道尊严”日渐式微的趋势,也需多种外界力量充分参与和有效配合。 Dignity is the common direction of human rational choice and spiritual pursuit. Chinese culture permeates the tradition of advocating"the dignity of the teaching profession". Reinvigorating"the dignity of the teaching profession"is the best choice for a virtuous cycle of educational ecology.Although"the dignity of the teaching profession"is very important, the way to reinvigorate may depend on many complicated factors."The dignity of the teaching profession"reflects three kinds of relationships of"teacher-to-self","other-to-teacher", and"teacher-to-other", and includes three elements of"self-esteem","recognition"and"contribution". The improvement of teachers’ self-esteem depends on social recognition, which is not groundless, but ultimately depends on the contribution made by teachers. Therefore, the fundamental logic of revitalizing the teacher’s dignity is not to bluntly pull on oneself or to blame the society, but return to the teachers themselves, that is, to continuously improve the teachers’ contribution. Of course, alleviating or preventing the diminishing trend of"the dignity of the teaching profession"also requires the full participation and effective cooperation of various external forces.
