摘要
乔治·斯坦纳的阐释学翻译四步骤理论在翻译界有着举足轻重的作用,由信任、侵入、吸收和补偿四个步骤构成。河北丰润车轴山中学校园内景点和校史融合了自然景观、人文景观和教书育人三方面的内容,具有典型的文学作品和艺术作品的特点。结合实例,探讨河北丰润车轴山中学校园内景点和校史的英译过程中所采用的翻译策略和技巧,验证乔治·斯坦纳所提出的阐释学翻译四步骤理论在译文中的体现,并得出结论:该理论在具有文化气息的景点和校史翻译中具有适用性,对类似文本的翻译具有指导作用。希望为同样具有历史底蕴的学校的外宣工作提供经验和做法。
George Steiner’s fourfold hermeneutic translation motion theory plays an important role in the translation field,and it consists of trust,aggression,incorporation and compensation.HeBei Fengrun Chezhoushan Middle School has rich scenic spots and a long history,which are mixed with natural scenery,cultural landscape and the function of cultivating students.They have typical characteristics of literary and artistic works.Based on examples and analysis of the strategies and techniques used in the process of translating school scenic spots and school history of Hebei Fengrun Chezhoushan Middle School,the embodiment of George Steiner’s fourfold hermeneutic translation motion theory is verified,and the conclusion is drawn that Steiner’s theory is applicable to translating school scenic spots and history,and has a guiding effect on translating similar texts.It is hoped that those who need to give external publicity to their schools can get inspiration from this paper.
