摘要
新型高硼高速钢是一类在M2高速钢基础上发展起来的多元低合金化、高硬度和优异抗氧化性能的高温耐磨材料。针对高硼高速钢中间隙原子的固溶特性(硼碳原子的分配行为)及性能独立可控的冶金学特点,提出了此类材料组织、成分设计原则,并讨论了主要合金元素(Cr、Al和Si等)对高硼高速钢中硬质相和基体组织的影响规律,提出了"有效硼元素"概念。此外,讨论了高硼高速钢与M2高速钢的高温抗氧化性能,并比较了合金中三种典型的共晶硼化物形态及其控制思路。这些方面的深入探讨为揭示高硼高速钢组织与性能关系、扩大高硼高速钢的应用奠定了良好基础,起到了抛砖引玉的效果。
High-boron high speed steels(HBHSSs)are new kind of tool steels tailored multi-component low alloying elements on the basis of M2 high speed steel,which belong to good high-temperature wear-resistant metal materials and possesses high hardness,excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance.In this paper,we put forward the design principles of the composition,constitute and desired microstructure for HBHSSs according to metallurgical features of these materials with solid solubility of interstitial boron and carbon atoms and obtained properties.The effects of Cr,Al,Si and other alloying elements on the hard phases and microstructures of HBHSSs are also discussed,and the effective boron content is proposed to design the steels.Meanwhile,the oxidation resistances between HBHSSs and M2 high speed steel are analyzed,and then the typical morphologies and control for three types of M2B eutectic borides are compared and analyzed.These aspects are of importance for the microstructure-property relationships and enlarged applications of HBHSSs in high-temperature oxidation and wear fields,which provides an inspiration and strategy to further explore the high-boron high speed steel.
