摘要
校训是学校的"魂"之所在,每所大学的校训都有其出处和内涵,校训中更蕴含着大学办学特色、办学理念以及价值诉求。近些年来,"千校一训,一训千校"的趋同现象是高校校训现状的真实写照,本文论述了诸多高校校训中存在的主要有界定不清晰、内容不符和流于形式等问题,提出了校训要体现办学特色、反映时代新意、重在建设等建议。
A motto,the"soul"of a school is unique to a college or a university.It has its own origin and connotation with the characteristics of running a university,its conception and value orientations.In recent years,formulating or changing mottoes have prevailed in most of colleges and universities,thus shaping a trend of convergence of mottoes.However,a motto is a true reflection of the status quo of colleges and universities.This article attempts to reveal the main problems that exist in university mottoes,therefore,suggesting that it is necessary to well define and design a motto that authentically embodies a university’s own characteristics and value.
