摘要
赵元任是世界现代汉语作为外语教学的奠基人,对国内的汉语作为外语教学有着重大而深远的影响。他指出了汉语作为外语教学必须坚持的四条原则,即:一、语言是一套习惯,学习外国语就是养成一套特别的习惯;二、让学语言的人跟语言本身多接触;三、外语学习一定要学好口语;四、外语学习应按照语音、语法跟词汇的次序进行,并据此建立了一套完整的教学模式。这一模式对新中国首批外国留学生汉语培训班"清华大学东欧交换生中国语文专修班"具有直接的影响。他所编写的《国语入门》是专修班的汉语教材《汉语教科书》最主要借鉴对象,并对后来中国汉语作为外语教材的编写产生了深远的影响。
Yuen Ren Chao is the founder of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in modern time around the woad, has a groat influence on teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China. He defined four principles which must be stuck to in teaching, and built a set of rounded teaching patterns. These patterns had a direct i laid the foundation of the theory and pracnfluence on ＂Intensive Chinese Major Class for East European Exchange Students＂ established in Tsinghua University in 1951, whichtice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the early days of New China. His textbook, Mandarin Primer, was the model of Modern Chinese Reader, which impacts the compilation of the textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language till now.
