The matters needing attention in the replacement of ionic exchange membrane and the effect of impurities in brine on the membrane are introduced. Through the management and control of brine quality, temperature of brine fed to chelating resin tower, chlorate content, addition of acid to electrolyzers, electrolyzer pressure difference and start-up and shut-down operation, the service life of ionic exchange membrane is prolonged, the production cost is reduced, and the market competitiveness of enterprises is improved.
