The contents of zero-gap remodeling electrolyzers and matters introduced. The operation data before and after the remodeling are analyzed and needing attention are compared, showing that the cell voltage drops by 210 mV and power consumption decreases by 134.6 kW·h for production of 1-t 100% KOH. The energy saving effect is remarkable, and good social and economic benefits are created.
