摘要
通过问卷调查、测验、课堂观察及访谈的方法,在上海理工大学进行了一学期的主题式内容依托教学模式(CBI)的实验。实验前,为了了解理工科大学生英语写作中存在的问题,开展了关于理工科大学生英语写作课程需求的问卷调查。针对问卷调查中发现的问题,并根据主题式CBI的特点,设计了大学英语课堂中写作模块的教学活动。运用SPSS 19.0软件分析了问卷以及写作测验数据,以表明主题式CBI对理工科大学生英语写作能力的影响。
By employing four methods including questionnaire survey, test papers, classroomobservation and interview,theauthors conducted atheme-based CBI experiment in University ofShanghai for Science and Technology (USST). The study lasted for half the authors carried out a questionnaire survey about needs analysis of writing course for Chinese Science VEngineering Majors (SEMs) in order to know their Englisti writing problems. According to the survey results and characteristics of theme-based CBI,teaching activities of College English writing component were designed. The effect of theme-based CBI on English writing proficiency is explored through analyzing the collected data with SPSS 19.0.
