摘要
在英语教学中,语言教学与文化教学都占有十分重要的地位,学习者在掌握语言技能的同时,还需提高跨文化交际能力。现以《英语国家社会与文化》课程为例,通过教学理论与课堂实践的结合,总结出相对有效的文化教学方法,包括直观教学,情境教学和参与式教学等,并且探讨如何利用这些方法获得良好的教学效果,同时对教学过程中出现的问题进行反思。
Linguistic and cultural knowledge are both significant in English language teaching. While acquiring linguistic skills, English learners should also enhance their cross-cultural communication ability. Correspondingly, the course the society and culture of major English-speaking countries is designed to impart cultural knowledge to students. Combining teaching theories with classroom practices, this course adopts various effective teaching approaches, including audio-visual instruction, situational teaching, participatory teaching and contrast teaching, to obtain satisfactory teaching results. It also reflects upon some problems emerging in the teaching process.
