摘要
随着社会经济的发展和科技的进步,各国之间的科技交流越来越频繁,先进的技术和设备也快速更新换代。英语作为世界通用语言,始终是国际经济、贸易等各项交流活动中必不可少的语言工具。先进的英语翻译技术也随着各行各业的交流活动涌入中国。科技英语翻译与其它专业的英语翻译有一定的差别,比如对文字的处理:采用不同的翻译方法翻译相同的科技资料,所达到的效果是有差别的。要保证翻译效果,首先应该熟悉科技英语翻译的特点,及时总结翻译过程中遇到的难题及其处理经验,并逐步汇总出科技英语翻译技巧,为先进科技在全球范围内无障碍流通创设先决条件。本文基于对科技英语的定义、特点的分析,从语法、词汇等的运用、句式的转换以及科技术语的处理等几方面,总结出科技英语的译法和翻译技巧,以供同行参阅。
With the development of social economy and the progress of science and technology, science and technology exchanges betw-een countries are becoming more and more frequent. English as the world＇s common language, has always been an important tool for international economic, trade and other exchanges. Advanced English translation technology has also entered the Chinese market with the exchange of various industries. There are some differences betw-een EST translation and other professional English translation, for example, the processing of the text： the use of different translation methods to translate the same scientific and technological information, the effect is different. To ensure the effect of translation, should be familiar with the characteristics of scientific English translation, summarize the experience and problems encountered in the process of translation, and gradually summarize translation skill, advanced science and technology barrier in the global scope of liquidity creation prerequisite.
