摘要
多元主体、立场与标准的大学排行是美国大学社会化评价和大学外部治理的重要内容。30余年来,美国大学排行评价已从单一的学术卓越标准,转向包含学术质量、教育可负担性、产出绩效乃至学生满意度等多重价值标准,并出现了强调教育投资收益和社会公益贡献等新的评价标准。价值标准的多元化转向,折射出美国大学排行的内在价值取向从传统的学术卓越走向"不失责任的卓越"的演进趋势,外在价值取向则体现为大学评价的社会化特征及共治意蕴。
The evaluation of university rankings in USA characterized as multiple organi- zations, positions and standards is the important content of the university evaluation conduc- ted by the society and the external governance of university. In recent 30 years, there are some important changes occurred in USA university ranking including the transition from the single standard of educational and academic excellence to the multiple standards, such as ed- ucational and academic quality, educational affordability, output performance and students' satisfication; now there also appear new evaluation criteria emphasizing educational invest- ment and the social public interests. This transition of the diversified value standards has re- flected the change of the internal value orientation from the traditional educational and aca- demic excellence to the excellence with the soul of social accountability; as to the external value orientation, university ranking evaluations have reflected the characteristics of sociali- zation of university evaluation and the orientation of shared governance behind the practice of university evaluation.
