摘要
克里希那穆提的原版系列作品大多为著述,有鲜明的风格特点,包括听者与克氏之间的问答,克氏的自问与自答,又夹杂对自然环境的描写。如何从宏观上把握克氏作品的风格,并将其译为读者接受的文字是克氏译者所面临的关键问题。笔者认为,译者应忠于原作简洁朴质的语言风格,摒弃宗教术语,也应根据语境采取口语性和散文性相结合的风格策略,增强译文的可读性。
Krishnamurti's works are featured with distinct stylistic characteristics,including conversations between Krishnamurti and his audience,self-questioning and answering,and descriptions of natural surroundings. How to render the original style of these works into an acceptable one in Chinese is a key question for the translators to consider. The author of this paper holds that the translators of Krishnamurti's works should be loyal to the simple language style of the original version,avoid using religious terms and adopt a colloquial and prose translation strategy for the readability of the translated version.
