摘要
词汇具有丰富的文化内涵,是语言的基础。若要准确理解词汇的含义,必须结合一定的文化背景,因此,中西文化差异也会影响学生对词汇的理解和掌握,这就要求教师在英语教学中充分考虑跨文化因素,并将英语词汇教学与跨文化差异充分结合,进而提高英语词汇教学的质量。
Words with rich cultural connotation is the basis of language.To accurately understand the meaning of words,we must combine them with a certain cultural background.Cultural differences also affect students＇ understanding and grasp of vocabulary.Teachers should take cross-cultural factors fully into account to improve the quality of English vocabulary teaching.
