摘要
近年来,出于对外宣传、扩大办学声誉和国内外影响的需要,许多大学将校训译成了英文,江西中医药大学概莫能外。本文将以"翻译目的论"为理论依据,从"翻译目的论"的三大运用原则(即目的原则、连贯性原则和忠实性原则)分析研究了江西中医药大学校训的英译。
In recent years, for meeting the needs of international communication, of expanding schools＇ reputation and influence at home and abroad, many universities have translated the school mottos into English. Jiangxi University of TCM is no exception to this. Based on the＂ Skopos Theory＂ ,the paper analyzes the English translation of the school motto of Jiangxi University of TCM from the three principles （ purpose principle, coherence principle and fidelity principle ） of the＂ Skopos Theory＂.
