摘要
开课课时少、学生学习积极性不高、评价方式单一等问题导致英语演讲课程教学效果不佳。英语演讲知识模块化、PC和智能手机的普及和网上海量免费演讲视频资源共享有利于英语演讲课程翻转课堂的实施。通过运用翻转课堂,学生课前可自学微课视频、完成拓展练习,增加投入英语演讲学习的时间;教师可实现以学生为主体的演讲教学,激发学生学习兴趣,提高英语演讲课堂教学效果;可通过多种评价方式的结合对学生的学习进行评价,从而促进英语演讲教学。
Problems such as limited class hours, students' lack of interest and single evaluation method lead to the unsatisfy- ing teaching effect of English speaking. Modularization of knowledge for English speaking, popularity of personal computers and smart phones, and massive amount of online English speaking videos all provide a favorable environment for the application of flipped classroom to English speaking teaching. With flipped classroom students can teach themselves by watching videos and fin- ishing exercises before class, which means an increase of studying hours; and teachers can organize a student-oriented class to stimulate their interest in study and improve teaching efficiency, and combine multiple evaluation methods to evaluate students' performance and thus promote English speaking teaching.
