摘要
莫言获得世界文学最高荣誉,翻译的译介传播作用功不可没。葛浩文是中国现当代文学首席翻译家,译著颇丰,其特殊的教育文化背景、个人独特身份、汉英翻译素养以及具体实践中灵活的翻译手段促使其成功译介了莫言的作品。从传播学视角分析葛氏翻译莫言作品的过程及译作传播中译者主体性的发挥,认为汉学家与作者合作翻译模式为最佳译介模式。
The communication of translation and introduction has played a vital role in helping Mo Yan win the world literature laureate.Howard Goldblatt is the chief translator of Chinese modern and contemporary literature.His success in translating Mo Yan＇s works is,to a great extent,attributed to his special education and cultural background,his unique identity,his good command of both Chinese and English and flexible techniques in practice.This paper analyses the subjectivity of translators in the process of translation and transmission of translations from the perspective of communication.It is concluded that the cooperation between sinologists and original authors is the optimal translation mode.
