The current development status of the global polyurethane industry and polyurethane industry in China were summarized. The polyurethane industry development trend in China of 13^th Five-Year Plan was analyzed emphatically. The guiding ideology and the overall goal of polyurethane industry development in China were given. The development direction and specific measures of each professional development in polyurethane were put forward, and the proposal for promoting the major project of polyurethane industry development was given.
