摘要
弹性学习既是一种理念,也是一种模式,具有个性化、开放性、灵活性和多样化的特点。目前,我国高校正面临为学生提供弹性学习的现实需求。在弹性学习背景下,不仅学习者知识背景复杂,而且现代信息技术已经被广泛运用到课程教学中来,教学活动和教学过程出现了前所未有的变化,教师面临着诸多挑战。本文以美国大学个性化学士学位项目和"大规模开放在线课程(MOOC)"的弹性学习模式为案例,探讨现代学习制度下的学习模式对现代大学教师提出的挑战,并对如何有效提升教师自身的素质提出观点。
Flexible learning is both a modern learning concept and a new type of learning mode, which has the features of personalization, openness, flexibility and variety. At present, Chinese universities are facing the practical need to provide students with flexible learning. In the context of flexible learning, learners are of complicated learning backgrounds. Meanwhile, modern information technology has been widely applied to teaching and learning activities as well as teaching processes have gone through unprecedented changes. Therefore, teachers are faced with many new challenges. The present paper is based on two cases study, namely, BIS program in U. S. universities and “massively open online course”. It explores the characteristics of flexible learning and analyzes how teachers should adjust their roles and effectively improve their qualities so as to adapt themselves to the new changes in the intellectual cultivation.
