External Social Capital,Learning from Failures and Radical Innovation

摘要 本文以失败学习为中介变量,研究开放式创新背景下外部社会资本对企业突破性创新的影响。采用相关分析、多元回归和中介效应检验等方法,基于上海、南京等地航空航天企业的实证分析表明,外部社会资本的结构资本与关系资本维度不仅对突破性创新有直接作用,而且通过失败学习对突破性创新产生间接作用。 The impact of external social capital on radical innovation is explored based on learning from failures as an intermediary variables in the context of open innovation. Hypotheses were test by using correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and mediating effect test according to the survey data from aerospace companies located in Shanghai and Nanjing. The results reveal that external struc- tural capital and external relational capital have not only a direct effect on radical innovation, but also an indirect effect through learning from failures.
