摘要
"补缺假说"理论强调语言学习与语境的密切关系。通过问卷调查和文化知识测试,发现高职学生英语文化语境缺失,易形成"汉式英语"和跨文化语用失误。因此在高职英语教学中,可充分利用教材和真实语料,构建学习者心理文化语境,实现英语文化语境的补缺。
The Compensation Hypothesis puts great emphasis on the role of context in language learning. Based on that, the importance of context of culture in English teaching among vocational colleges was discussed. To avoid Chinglish and cross-cultural pragmatic errors, teachers should make use of textbooks and other kinds of authentic materials to build up the psychological cultural context of EFL learners and realize the compensation of context of FL culture.
