摘要
高管团队失败学习促使企业选择全新的商业模式还是在原有模式上继续改进,是企业界和学术界共同关注的话题。基于经验学习和组织惯性理论,发现高管团队失败学习与新颖型商业模式之间呈倒U型关系,与效率型商业模式之间呈正相关关系。在新创企业中,高管团队失败学习与新颖型商业模式设计之间仍存在倒U型关系,但在在位企业中,两者之间呈U型关系。此外,还发现,与新创企业相比,在位企业中高管团队失败学习与效率型商业模式设计之间的正向关系更强。
Most managers and scholars concentrate on whether a top management team(TMT) will choose to create a novel business model or improve original business model after failure. Based on experience learning and organizational inertia theory, this study finds that TMT learning from failure has an inverted U-shaped effect on novelty-centered business model design while has a positive effect on efficiency-centered business model design. In new venture, there is still an inverted u-shaped relationship between TMT learning from failure and novelty-centered business model design, but the relationship switches to U-shape in established firm. In addition,this research also finds that the relationship between TMT learning from failure and efficiency-centered business model design is stronger than that of new venture.
