摘要
社会翻译学在过去20年迅速发展成为新的国际学术热点。西方学者围绕4个核心领域展开了卓有成效的研究:翻译职业、翻译机构、翻译产品国际流通与传播、社会学与翻译学的关系。国内社会翻译学研究尚处于引介国外成果为主、应用西方理论为次的阶段,今后应紧密结合中国翻译实践,在翻译职业、翻译机构、中国文学与文化国际传播、翻译生产与传播过程研究等领域开展个案、实证研究和理论建构,以推进翻译学学科发展,指导当前的翻译实践。
The past two decades has witnessed the rapid development of socio-translation studies,currently a hot issue of international scholarship. Four major areas of investigation have been covered by Western translation scholars:translation as a profession,translating institutions,the international circulation of translated books as cultural goods,and a sociology of translation studies. In China,however,this subdiscipline is still largely underdeveloped with domestic scholars engaged mainly in introducing major Western studies in the field or applying Western theories. More scholarly efforts should be made to conduct case and empirical studies as well as theoretical construction in the areas of translation profession,translating institutions,the international circulation of Chinese literature and culture,and the processes of translation production and circulation to enhance translation studies and guide translation practices in China.
