The Effect of Environmental Learning Curve of Technical Progress and Foreign Trade——The Empirical Study of Hierarchical Linear Model

摘要 本文利用分层线性模型,根据中国222个地级城市硫排放量与工业总产值及22个省区层面的相关数据研究了地级城市的环境学习曲线及其学习效应。结果发现,地级城市硫排放量随着工业总值增加呈现指数衰减;省区对外贸易强度、省区技术进步对地级城市环境学习曲线学习效应具有重要影响,弹性分别为-0.183和-0.466;省区对外贸易强度、省区技术进步对地级城市硫排放的间接弹性分别0.091和0.232;地级城市二氧化硫排放量的差异有30.81%是由省区之间的差异造成的。结论对完善我国省区硫减排政策具有重要启发作用。 Environment learning curve of sulfur emissions and its learning effect is studied based on the data of sulfur emissions and gross industrial output value in Chinese 222 cities and the related data in 22 provinces according to the hierarchical linear model .The re-sults show that sulfur emissions of 222 cities present exponential decay with the increase of industrial gross output value .The foreign trade intensity and technology progress in province level has important influence on learning curve in city level with elasticity -0.183 and-0.466 respectively .The effect of the foreign trade intensity and technology progress in province level on sulfur emissions in city level is 0.091 and 0.232 respectively .The percentage of the differences of the sulfur dioxide emissions in 222 cities is 27.43% caused by the dif-ference between provinces .The finding has important inspiration on how to perfect sulfur emissions reduction policies in Chinese provinces .
