摘要
藏族格言诗高度融合了藏、汉、印三种文化的智慧,是很有价值的精神文本。因此,藏族格言诗的翻译不只是简单的语言转换,更是文化间的复杂交流,译者应充分注意到中西文化之间的转换,尤其要注意集中体现藏族文化的"佛"类字眼的翻译。将藏族格言诗三个英译本中"佛"类字眼的翻译进行比较,从文化转换的角度分析其译者所采用的翻译策略和技巧,并从宗教文化、译者身份和意识形态等方面分析其影响因素,可以为中华民族文化走出去提供一些参考。
Tibetan gnomic verse is a high-level and valuable literary spiritual form and integrates with the wisdoms of Tibetan, Chinese and Indian culture. Therefore, translating Tibetan gnomic verses is not only a linguistic transformation, but a complex inter-cultural communication. Translators should fully notice the inter-cultural transformation, especially the trans- lation of Buddha-related words which fully reflect the connotation of Tibetan culture. In this paper, the translations of Bud- dha-related words in the three versions are compared and their different translation strategies are analyzed from the perspective of cultural transformation. Influencing factors, including religious culture, status of translators and ideology, are analyzed. At last, this paper will provide some references for the going out of Chinese culture.
