摘要
在“文化转向”的译学研究中,翻译不再仅仅是语言层次上的转换,译者往往会对原作在一定程度上进行文化层面的“改写”,以使其与译入语社会的主流意识形态相符。本文以潘光旦译注的《性心理学》为例,探讨社会文化系统中的意识形态对翻译选材和翻译策略的影响。
With a cultural turn in translation studies,translation is considered more than a mere transformation on a linguistic level,and the translator will 'rewrite' the original from a cultural approach to conform to the prevailing ideology in the target system.After a case study of Chinese translation of Psychology of Sex by Pan Guangdan,it is pointed out that ideology plays an important role in choo-(sing) the subject matter and strategies employed in the process of translation.
