摘要
一直以来,国外从人类学、民族学、语言学、史学、社会学等角度对苗族进行了大量研究,留下了许多珍贵的资料,但相对而言,这些作品的汉语译介却为数不多。本文基于国际研究的视角,通过厘清不同时期国外苗族研究的译介脉络与价值,不仅发现苗族在不断的变迁中演变成为跨国族群并进入国际视野,呈现出别具一格的魅力;而且展现出译介国外苗族研究的文献、作品对于全面了解苗族在异域文化、尤其是西方文化中的生存现状,以及在世界大同、文化大同的大时代下,促进多民族、多文化的和谐共存,逐步缩小"我者—他者"之间的人为藩篱,存在重要意义。今后对国外苗族研究的译介可从译者对国际视域下苗族研究译介的影响,意识形态对国际视域下苗族研究译介的操纵,赞助人对国际视域下苗族研究译介的操纵,国际视域下苗族研究作品译本序跋研究,新时期跨境苗族纪实文学译介研究,跨境苗族英文小说译介研究等方面进行拓展。
The international researches on the Miao have long focused on anthropology, ethnology, linguis- tics, historiography and sociology. However, the research findings are all written in foreign languages, with only a few translated into Chinese. Clearing the medio - translatology and importance of international researches on the Miao at different phases, this paper has drawn the conclusion that the Miao has been turned into a transna- tional ethnic group in transition and demonstrated unique features. Moreover, the paper believes that translating the works of international researches on the Miao can help the Chinese scholars comprehend their living status in a completely novel culture, especially in the west regions. Translation of international researches on the Miao can gradually bridge the man - made ＂self - others＂ gaps and enhance the harmony of multi - ethnic cultures for cos- mopolitanism. The last but not the least, this paper puts forward some suggestions for further international studies on the medio - translatology of the Miao in terms of the manipulation of translator, ideology and patronage. It also makes sense to study the preface and postscript of international researches of the Miao, the translation of the non -fiction of the Miao in a new age, and the English -written novels about the Miao.
