摘要
学术自由不仅是人之本性的内在需要,也是学者人格健全与自我实现的重要保证。学术自由保护了人的好奇心和求知欲,使人在学术探究过程中提升道德修养和精神境界,促进健全人格的形成。探索未知是人类精神生活的重要组成部分,学术自由使人在学术探究中获取和体验高层次的精神享受,并在创造性的学术活动中实现自身的价值和使命,实现自我发展和完善。学术发展归根到底要依靠人、为了人,使人成为自主的创造主体。只有充分认识和肯定学术自由的人本价值,使人无限趋近于自由而全面发展的理想境界,才能带来持续的学术繁荣、文化昌盛、政治清明,乃至经济社会的发展。
Academic freedom is not only the inherent need of human nature, but also the important guarantee of the perfect personality and self-actualization of scholars. Academic freedom protects the curiosity and craving for knowledge of people, advances the moral cultivation and spiritual realm in the process of free academic exploration, which leads to the perfect personality. Exploring the unknown world is the significant part of human spiritual life. Academic freedom not only enables people to achieve and experience spiritual enjoyment at a high level in academic inquiry activities, but also makes the human value and mission realize in itself and fulfill self-development and self-perfection in creative academic behaviors. In the long run, the academic development will depend on people, for people and make people become the independent subject of innovation. Only when we sufficiently understand and affirm the humanistic value of academic： freedom, and lead to the ideal realm of free and overall development of people, can we bring about the sustainable academic prosperity, cultural blooming, political probity and the development of economy and society.
