摘要
20世纪80年代以来,反讽越来越受到认知语言学家的关注与重视。研究反讽的理解不但有利于揭示非直义句的理解过程和认知机制,而且也为建立理解比喻性语言的通用假说提供理论和实证支持。本研究回顾国内外反讽认知研究三十年取得的主要成就,总结其发展的主要特点,指出存在的问题,并探讨其未来的发展方向和趋势。
Cognitive study of irony is drawing more and more attention from cognitive linguists in that it will shed light on the comprehension process and cognitive mechanism of nonliteral language. Meanwhile,it will provide theoretical and practical support for the general hypothesis of figurative language comprehension. This article reviews the achievements as well as setbacks of cognitive study of irony in the past 30 years, sum- marizes the major characteristics of its development and sketches the possible directions cognitive study of i- rony might take in the future.
