摘要
收集了广东省近70所高职院校英文校名,进行整理、归类,厘清目前现有的纷繁复杂的英译名,同时借鉴英语国家同类院校的校名,听取外籍专业人士建议,对高职院校校名的英语翻译提出规范化建议。
This thesis collects, categorizes and analyzes the English names of approximately 70 higher vocational and technical colleges in Guangdong, China. The author, comparing and drawing on the experience of the similar names in China and other English speaking countries and absorbing foreign experts＇ suggestions, puts forward certain suggestions for standardizing the translation of the names of higher vocational and technical colleges.
