摘要
随着大学英语教学改革的推进和深化,大学英语教学的重心开始发生转移,ESP等后续课程越来越得到重视。在兼顾工具性、专业性和人文性的基础上,考虑到各个地区、各个高校之间的差异以及地区、高校内部的差异,构建基于ESP课程体系的中国大学英语教学连续体模型具有现实的指导意义。这个模型将基础英语课程、通识英语课程、专门用途英语课程、双语课程等融为一体,同时对于教师、学生、管理者都提出了针对性的要求。
In the ever developing process of the reform on college English teaching and learning( CETL), the focushas been timely transferred to post-EGP courses, such as EGE, ESP, BT. Referring to the instrumental, academic/occupational and humanistic nature of CETL and taking into consideration both the lnteramerences among alnerent regions and colleges and intradifferences within these regions and colleges, this paper proposes an ESP-based continuum model for China's CETL, which aims at an integration of EGP, EGE, ESP, BT and other possible English courses on college campus. This model also solicits some requirements for teachers, students and administrators involved in China's CETL.
