摘要
法律英语作为一种深受法律职业影响的英语语言的变体,其词汇和语法具有明显不同于普通英语的特点。本文对法律英语词源渠道、术语词汇、句式的特点及其应用做了详细的分析和总结。旨在揭示法律英语这种在常规英语语言基础上变异而成的专业英语的词汇风格分化特点及成因,在理论上指导法律英语的教学和实践。
Legal English is a variation of English language which is affected deeply by legal profession,and its vocabulary and grammar are quite different from general English.This paper analyzes and sums up the source of words derivation,terminology vocabulary,pattern features and their applications in detail.And the author aims at guiding the instructions and practices of legal English in theory by uncovering the vocabulary features of differentiation,and causes of formation.
