免疫细胞和许多肿瘤细胞固有表达TLR9信号通路,TLR9介导激活固有免疫并增强获得性免疫反应,TLR9也参与调控肿瘤细胞恶性生物学行为,TLR9配体内化、受体蛋白裂解与突变、昼夜节律钟等调节TLR9信号级联。
Toll-like receptor (TLR)-9 is expressed mainly on B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells and activates these ceils upon ligand binding. The activation of TLR9 basically initiates innate immune response, but can also induce adaptive immune response. TLR9 has also been found on tumor cells, but its role on tumor cells is still unclear. In some tumor types TLR9 promotes tumor proliferation and survival. TLR9 receptor signaling on CpG ODN activation is regulated by internalization of CpG ODNs, proteolytic cleavage of the TLR9 ectodomain, and the circadian clock.
