摘要
利用多媒体生动、形象的图示以及声音、色彩和动画来传递教学信息,既可以充分调动学生的耳、眼、口、手等多种感官同时工作,又可以为学生创造充满英语氛围的学习环境。通过论讨多媒体技术在现代英语教学中的应用,指出多媒体教学的弊端。
Multimedia technology, which is characterized by a combination of graphic, textual, audio and video functions, provides us with a more effective approach to foreign langnage teaching. At present, it is necessary for us to reform the current foreign language teaching models so as to meet a modem society＇s demands. This paper is intended to discuss the theoretical bases and the characteristics of multimedia tech- nology, expound the application of multimedia technology in foreign language teaching, and make some suggestions.
