A Multimodality-based Study on Cultivating Students' Multi-Cultural Literacy Ability

摘要 全球化和信息技术的飞跃发展带来的日益增强的文化多元化和各种语言变体,无疑给英语教学的内容和方法带来了巨大的影响。基于多模态,本文探讨了高校应如何改革综合英语教学以更好地培养学生的多元文化读写能力,继而增强学生的学习自信心及学习兴趣,最后达到提高学生综合英语水平的教学目的。 Cultural diversity and language variants resulting from globalization and the fast development of information technology undoubtedly influence the college English teaching including its methods and contents. Based on multimodality, this paper explores how universities should reform their comprehensive English teaching so as to cultivate students' multi-cultural literacy ability, enhance their self-learning confidence and learning interests, and achieve the aim of improving their comprehensive English level.
