摘要
严复是我国著名的思想家翻译家,他提出的"信达雅"对后世有着很大的影响。"信达雅"是三位一体的有机体,是中国传统翻译思想的纲领,但"雅"字引起较多争议,褒之贬之,见仁见智。本文通过研究严复先生的生平经历、"信达雅"的提出来探讨严复先生及其翻译思想的影响。
Yan Fu is a famous thinker and translator in China,whose translation standard ＂faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance＂ has influenced a lot of translators.The ＂faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance＂ principle is both an organic unity and an outline of the thought of Chinese traditional translation;While there are still many arguments about ＂elegance＂.This article discusses the influence of Yan Fu and his transloution thorghts through his experience and the putting forwardaf ＂faithfulness,expressiveness and clegance＂ principle.
