摘要
大学学术声誉评价已经成为目前世界几大知名排名体系的核心所在。本文基于声誉评价在现代大学评价中的地位,指出我国目前大学排行榜中的声誉评价存在不足,并通过分析国外两大排名系统——《美国新闻与世界报道》全球大学排名、《泰晤士报》高等教育排名的学术声誉评价的基本过程,总结了国外声誉评价在理念和实施上的基本特点。
The evaluation of academic reputation of a university has become the central process in most of the world university rankings. Based upon the important role of the evaluation of academic reputation in modem university assessments, this article describes the inadequate status of reputation evaluation in China, analyzes the reputation evaluation procedures of two of the most high-profile world university ranking systems US News and World Report/QS World University Rankings and The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings, then summarized the unique features of the idea and process of the academic reputation evaluation in foreign university rankings, which are worthy of reference for our Chinese higher education evaluators.
