摘要
本文综述了术语能力理念的形成背景、相关研究及其在翻译工作中的重要性,并在对面向翻译的术语能力进行构成分析后提出了由7种子能力构成的术语能力关系网络模型。文章接着从课堂教学与翻译教材两个方面剖析了我国传统翻译教学中术语能力的培养情况,归纳其特点与不足。最后,文章根据术语能力关系网络模型尝试构建翻译专业术语能力培养模式,模式具体包括基于能力的模块化术语学课程设置、研究性学习的开展以及教师术语能力培养意识的增强。
This paper first of all gives a review of the background and relevant studies of the concept of terminological competence as well as its importance in translation. It then carries out a componential analysis of translation-oriented terminological competence and constructs a network model of its seven sub-competences. From the aspects of classroom instruction and translation textbooks, the paper further expounds on the characteristics and shortcomings of ter- minological competence cultivation in China's traditional translation instruction. Finally, in the light of the proposed network model, it makes an attempt to establish a cultivation scheme of terminological competence for translation majors, which includes competence-based modular curriculum design of terminology, inquiry learning and fostering of teachers' cultivation awareness.
