摘要
根据对江西省第二大城市——赣州市的公示语英译情况的调查,对出现的错误进行归类并尝试性地提出修改建议;从翻译伦理视角探讨公示语翻译质量低下的原因,论证译者伦理、委托人伦理和政府相关部门的伦理对保证翻译质量的重要性。
Based on an field research on the translation of public signs in Ganzhou,the second largest city of Jiangxi province,this paper has categorized the errors found in the translations and has suggested corrections for them.Meanwhile,this paper has explored the reasons for poor quality of the translation of public signs from the perspective of translation ethics and proved that the guidance of ethics of the translator,the patronage and the government will guarantee good translations of public signs.
