摘要
进化工程是一项全基因组水平的新兴技术,它通过模拟自然进化中的变异和选择过程,实现对微生物菌株优良性状的选育。近年来,进化工程在扩大底物利用范围,提高代谢物产量及提高微生物的耐受性等方面取得了显著进展。介绍了进化工程的概念、特点及发展过程,叙述了进化工程的原理和研究方法,重点总结了进化工程方法在菌株改进方面的研究进展,最后对该技术的发展趋势和潜在应用进行了展望。
Evolutionary engineering is a novel whole-genome wide engineering strategy.Inspired by natural evolution,the approach of evolutionary engineering follows nature's principles of variation and selection for strain improvement.Recently,the application of the evolutionary engineering had make a significant progress in bioengineering.The concept and the characteristic of this technology were introduced and the principle and methods of the evolntion were presented.Process,then,the progress of its application in the strain improvement was summarized.Finally,the perspective was given for the trend and the potentiality of evolutionary engineering.
