摘要
莱辛从理论上肯定了莎剧的审美价值。他认为德国戏剧应该向莎剧的创作原则靠拢。本文认为莱辛在建立"市民戏剧"理论框架的基础上,看到了莎剧对生活不是简单的复制,而是艺术的摹写,抓住了莎剧反映人性、表现人生与情感的真实性、复杂性,戏剧效果与动作、人物之间的统一,将亚里士多德以来的"模仿论"应用到文学批评中,肯定莎剧达到了思想与艺术的高度统一,并认为这是德国戏剧创作应该遵循的美学原则之一。
Lessing affirmed the aesthetic value of Shakespearean Plays' theoretically.He believed that German plays should side with the creation principle of Shakespearean plays.This paper holds that although what he advocated "Civic Drama" differs in content and expressive form from those in Shakespearean plays to all appearances,he took cognizance of the consistency in reflecting life and humanity between them.Lessing advocated taking Shakespeare's creation method as an example because he recognized Shakespeare didn't copy the life simply but counterdraw it artistically.By doing so,Shakespeare applied the "mimetic theories" which originated from Aristotle into literary criticism and reflected the facticity of characters and complexity of humanity expression.He considered that Shakespearean plays had reached such a high degree of thought and art,that should be one of the aesthetic principles for German plays to follow.
