摘要
文章通过对美国知名医学杂志中各种人称代词使用频率的统计分析,探讨了医学文体中人称代词使用的特点。并对人称代词使用频率减少的现象作了分析,发现其原因主要是医学英语日益向着客观性,科学性和经济性方向不断迈进而发展变化的结果。
Characteristics of the usage of various personal pronouns in medical English were discussed in this paper through a statistical analysis of their occurrence in well--know America--published medical journal articles.Further analysis points out that the reasons for their decrease rest primarily with the ongoing change in medical writing pattern which is advancing towards being more scientific, objective,impersonal, and economical.
