摘要
以碳纤维为填料制备PTFE复合材料,研究了该复合材料在干摩擦条件下与45#钢对摩时的摩擦磨损性能,并探讨了其磨损机理.试验结果表明:碳纤维能提高PTFE的硬度,碳纤维/PTFE复合材料的耐磨性能明显优于纯PTFE.当碳纤维含量较小时,其摩擦系数随碳纤维含量的增加而减小,碳纤维含量较高时,其摩擦系数随着碳纤维含量的增加而缓慢增大.摩擦表面SEM观察发现:纯PTFE材料的摩擦表面分布着较明显的犁削和粘着磨损的痕迹,而复合材料的磨痕较浅,这表明以碳纤维作为填料可有效地抑制PTFE的磨损.
Effects of filled carbon fiber on the friction and wear properties of polytetrafluoroethylen(PTFE) in case of dry friction with No.45 steel were detected and investigated by using an MM-200 wear tester.The wear performances and its mechanism of PTFE composite were measured.The experimental results showed that carbon black could significantly enhance hardness and anti-wear property for PTFE by filling carbon fiber.When the content of carbon fiber was lower,the friction coefficient of PTFE composites decreased with increasing of carbon fiber content.When the content of carbon fiber was higher,the friction coefficient of PTFE composites increased with increasing of carbon fiber content.SEM micrographs of PTFE and carbon fiber/PTFE composites indicated that carbon fiber could dramatically retard the structure destruction of PTFE and reduced the wear of PTFE composites.
