摘要
目前国内翻译界对计算机辅助翻译尤其是翻译记忆的热情日益高涨,纷纷呼吁将翻译记忆纳入翻译教学。本文客观分析了翻译记忆在翻译教学中的优势和局限性。在此基础上,文章对翻译教学中如何应用计算机辅助翻译提出了建议,并倡议翻译界用好翻译记忆,扬长避短,提高翻译教学水平。
With the rising passion for computer-aided translation among translators and translation researchers in China, the integration of translation memory ( TM ) into translation teaching receives growing support. This paper gives an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of TM in translation teaching, and puts forward some suggestions with regard to the teaching methodology of TM. It also calls for a rational adoption of TM to improve translation teaching.
