摘要
通过适当工艺制备出了添加不同含量CeO2(0~2wt%)的氧化铝基陶瓷,研究了CeO2对氧化铝基陶瓷的烧结性、力学性能和抗热震性的影响。实验结果表明:CeO2添加剂可以改善氧化铝基陶瓷的显微结构,有利于材料的致密化,提高力学性能和抗热震性。但不同含量的CeO2对其性能有不同的影响。当CeO2的含量为1.5wt%时,氧化铝基陶瓷的致密度最大,抗弯强度和断裂韧性最高;而当CeO2的含量为1wt%时,抗热震性最佳。抗热震性的提高主要归因于增韧作用,同时气孔率也有影响。
Alumina matrix ceramics with different contents of CeO2 were prepared by means of appropriate technique. The effects of CeO2 on sintering, mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance of alumina matrix ceramics were studied in this paper. The experimental results show that the microstructure can be enhenced, high density is obtained, tile mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance can be improved by adding CeO2 in alumina matrix. But the effect changes with the contents of CeO2. The highest relative density, flexural strength and fracture toughness are obtained when the addition of CeO2 is 1.5wt%. The values are 96.96%, 220.91MPa and 4.18MPa. m^1/2, respectively. The thermal shock resistance is the best when the addition of CeO2 is lwt%. The improvement of the thermal shock resistance can be mainly attribute to toughness mechanism and partly due to porosity.
