摘要
鼻咽癌是我国南方常见的恶性肿瘤,目前放射治疗是其最基本、最有效的治疗手段,但它的5年生存率还是较低。由于鼻咽癌具有生长迅速以及高转移特性,最终仍有超过一半的患者由于局部复发或远处转移而治疗失败,因而有必要探讨新的预后指标和新的治疗策略。随着分子生物学技术的发展,环氧化酶2(COX-2)是新近发现的与鼻咽癌有相关性的肿瘤标志物。其过度表达与鼻咽癌的发生、发展密切相关。本文概述了COX-2的生物学特点、致鼻咽癌的一些机制以及COX-2抑制剂对鼻咽癌的治疗作用。
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is an ordinary malignant tumor in southem China. In current radiotherapy is still a basic and most efficient treatment method, but 5-year overall survival rate is still at a low level. With the feature of fast growth and high metastasis, there is more than a half patients get a fail treatment cause of local recur or distant metastasis, so it's necessary to investigate a new prognosis marker and a new treatment strategy. With the development of the technique of molecular biology, Cyclooxygenase- 2 (COX-2) is a new tumor marker related to Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). It's close to tumorgenesis and development of NPC with overexpression. This article reviews biology features and tumorgenesis mechanisms of NPC and the therapeutic effect of COX-2 inhibitors.
