摘要
通过问卷调查与访谈形式,运用描述性统计和定量分析,对非英语专业高职新生的英语课内外学习方式作了调查与分析,发现了高职新生课内外学习方式的一些特点:(1)课内喜欢老师多练口语及多组织交流、讨论等活动,但听课方式仍比较传统及被动;(2)课外学习英语的形式多种多样,但缺乏足够的学习时间。在调查分析的基础上,对高职英语教学提出了一些建议。
This paper makes a survey and discussion on the English learning styles both in class and after class of freshmen by means of the descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis of a study of the 506 non-English major freshmen in a professional college. The major findings are as follows： （1） The freshmen learn English passively in the classroom. （2） They desire to communicate in oral English. On the basis of the survey, this paper makes some suggestions on college English teaching.
