摘要
传统修辞学将转喻看作辞格,是一种可有可无的修饰性的手段;认知语言学将转喻看作日常思维方式在语言中的表现。在认知语言学的影响下,转喻的范围不断扩大,越来越多的学者用转喻理论来分析越来越多的语言现象,这种不断泛化过程对转喻来说是一把双刃剑,值得我们做进一步的思考。
Metonymy had been treated as a dispensable ornamental means by traditional rhetoric, but in recognitive linguistics it is the reflection of ordinary thinking ways onto language. As a result, the bound of metonymy has been extended unceasingly. The extension must be reconsidered by us.
